Peterson, Iowa — Your chance to find out what’s going on with O’Brien County Conservation and have a bison burger while you do it is coming up this Tuesday night, August 12th.
Prairie Heritage Center officials tell us the event is from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at the center, which is between Peterson and Sutherland on Highway 10.
The meal of Bison Burgers, Baked Beans, Chips, Watermelon, and water will be served for a free-will donation. They tell us there will also be music by Larry Heschke.
You’ll hear people telling you about recent naturalist activity, the Main Floor Exhibit Renovation, and the Iowa Prairie Network-Hike & Conservation Station Water Simulator.
The event is presented by the O’Brien County Conservation Board and Little Sioux Valley Conservation Association.
