Sheldon, Iowa — The Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile will be in Sheldon this Wednesday (April 11th) at Northwest Iowa Community College.
Ken Versteeg is Executive Director of the Community Blood Bank, and he says that, while Wednesday’s blood drive at NCC is primarily focused on faculty and students of the college, the event is open to the public, as well.
Versteeg says giving blood is a simple process.
He says that every pint of blood donated can save up to three lives.
The Community Blood Bank will be accepting donations from 9am to 4 pm Wednesday, in Building “A” at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
