Sibley, Iowa — Your next chance to help bolster the northwest Iowa blood supply is this Thursday, March 26th, in Sibley.
Siouxland Community Blood Bank Executive Director Ken Ver Steeg tells us more.
Blood bank and hospital officials ask you to take some time out of your day and give the gift of life. As they say, the life you save may be someone you know.
VerSteeg gives us some blood donation guidelines.
The Community Blood Bank is the sole supplier of all blood and blood products for Osceola Regional Health Center. No hospitals in our area, including Osceola Regional Health Center, receive any blood or blood products from the American Red Cross.
Please call the Osceola Regional Health Center to make an appointment at 712-754-5358. And appointments are REQUIRED for this blood drive, according to hospital officials.
You can donate blood every 56 days.
The Bloodmobile will be in Sibley this Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and then from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Again, call for an appointment.
