Rock Rapids, Iowa — The Community Blood Bank is going to be in Rock Rapids this Wednesday.
Community Blood Bank Executive Director Ken Versteeg tells us more.
He says this blood drive is not only for students and staff at Central Lyon, but for the general public as well.
Versteeg says they have a new way to contact the bloodmobile on the day of the event if you want to make an appointment and didn’t have a chance to make an appointment before.
That number again is 605-403-7942 to reach the blood drive event directly the day of the drive. Otherwise you can sign up at cbblifeblood.org or call 877-877-3070. Versteeg says they could really use your donation as they’ve had to defer a number of donations lately due to people not being completely over COVID or not feeling completely well the days of the blood drives.
