Bottled Water Advisory In Rock Valley Lifted

Rock Valley, Iowa — The City of Rock Valley has lifted the bottled water advisory.

On Saturday, Customers of Rock Valley Water Supply were notified of a potential problem with the drinking water and were advised to use bottled water as a precaution until the independent testing results were available.

In a Facebook post, the city said independent testing of water samples confirmed no traces of contamination in the system so the bottled water advisory has been lifted.

The advisory was put into effect due to a pressure loss in the Rock Valley water system.
