Cattle Stewardship Conference To Feature Nationally-Known Speaker

Spirit Lake, Iowa — Area farmers have a chance to hear from a nationally-known animal welfare specialist at a conference in northwest Iowa next week.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Beef Field Specialist Beth Doran says that The Cattle Stewardship Conference is coming up on Thursday, June 8th in Spirit Lake.


She says registrations are $30 per person and are due May 31 at the Dickinson County Extension Office in Spirit Lake. Call 712-336-3488 to make your registration or if you have questions.

Again, the Cattle Stewardship conference will be June 8, 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m., at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Spirit Lake and features Temple Grandin, a nationally-known animal welfare specialist.
