Arnolds Park, Iowa — A large waterfront building that has stood on the shores of West Lake Okoboji for over a century, has been sold.
The Central Emporium was built in 1901, and currently houses 26 stores and eating establishments right in Arnolds Park. This past Monday, May 2nd, Parks Marina officially took over ownership of the historic building. The new owners of the building point out the abundant space for docking boats while customers visit the venue’s businesses.
Some of the Central Emporium’s stores have already started opening on the weekends, and will be open for the summer season beginning May 20th.
