Sheldon, Iowa — Due to necessary repairs that need to be made to the City’s sewer main, a pair of Sheldon streets will be closed beginning this week.
City Manager Sam Kooiker says the streets involved are Washington Avenue from Highway 18, or Park Street, south to 4th Street. That section of street will be closed beginning Monday, July 12th.
The other affected area is 4th Street, from Washington Avenue, west to 8th Avenue. Kooiker says that street will be closed beginning Wednesday, July 14th. Both street closures will last for a couple of weeks.
Kooiker says homes with driveways on these streets will need to park in the rear if you have alley access, or on other streets during the repairs.
