Sheldon, Iowa – In an emergency, time is of the essence, and the City of Sheldon is urging residents to make sure the house numbers on their residence is easily visible to help emergency responders.
Sheldon Police Chief Eric Meinecke explains.
Meinecke says your house number is something that’s easy for you to overlook, but in a time of emergency it could be critical.
The Chief says house numbers need to be easily visible from the street, allowing emergency responders to get to you more quickly in case of an emergency.
