Spencer, Iowa — The Clay County Long Term Recovery Group will hold a collaborative meeting next week as a part of re-building efforts from this past June’s flood. Officials say the January 16th meeting is intended to create partnerships between local groups and volunteer organizations specializing in rebuilding after disasters. They add that sub-committees will be formed based on shared interests in the project and that weekly meetings will be held.

The January 16th meeting is scheduled to run from 1:00 until 3:00 pm. It will be held at Foundation Church at 1410 West 18th Street in Spencer.
