Sheldon, Iowa — The annual Coats for Kids drive is underway in Sheldon for the year.
But there are a few changes this year. Pastor Ken Snyder with the Sheldon Ministerial Association tells us more.
Snyder says they are accepting coats from now through October 27th. He says they will actually have two different distribution dates — one during the acceptance period, and one after. And unlike previous years, they will NOT be on a Saturday.
Again, the dates:
Accepting coats now through October 27th, with distribution on both October 2nd and November 6th. Snyder tells us in addition to new or gently used kids’ coats, they also take stocking caps (beanies) and gloves or mittens.
Coats For Kids is a partnership this year of the Sheldon Ministerial Association, Love In The Name Of Christ (Love INC), and Living Water Community Church.
