Northwest Iowa — Below zero wind chills continue through the middle of the week, and then temperatures turn even colder.
Wind chills this weekend may drop as low as -40 by Sunday.
Bitterly cold temperatures continue this week and will only get worse as the week moves on. We’ll still have scattered light snow chances, mainly focused around Thursday. Amounts will be light however. Life-threatening cold and wind chills move in for the end of the week through the upcoming weekend. Wind chills may drop as low as -45 at times.
