Northwest Iowa — A runner who lost his son and who now runs in his honor, and in honor of others who cancer or disease has affected — is coming to northwest Iowa this weekend. And he honors these people in a unique way.
Rik Zortman tells us he runs in the path of letters that could be viewed from above or on a map.
Zortman says he runs in the path of people’s names who he wants to honor — like a #HumanEtchASketch.
He tells us he is trying to run in all 99 Iowa counties, and he will be in our area this weekend.
According to Zortman, he is always looking for names to honor with his runs. You can submit a name at runforarmstrong.com.
