Sibley, Iowa — If you represent a non-profit group or a government subdivision in Osceola County, your organization can apply for a grant from the Community Foundation of Osceola County.
Foundation officials tell us grant applications for the 2025/26 round of grants are due at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12th. Grant applications are submitted to
Community Foundation of Osceola County
300 7th Street
Sibley, IA 51249
They do say that handwritten applications will NOT be accepted. Application limits are set at $5,000 per application per applicant. Funding decisions will be made public on February 20th, 2026. Officials say fiscal sponsors are only necessary when the grant check will be made out to an organization that is different than the applicant. If you need a fiscal sponsor, you can complete a Fiscal Sponsorship Form. If you are a nonprofit and are set up as your own 501c3, you would NOT need a fiscal sponsor.
They do limit you to one application per organization per grant cycle. Any organization with an incomplete grant project from a previous grant cycle will NOT be eligible to apply. And, they say that projects must be completed within six months of the award date.
