COVID Booster Shot Clinic Coming Up On Tuesday In Sheldon

Primghar, Iowa — Officials with O’Brien County Public Health tell us they are offering another COVID-19 vaccine booster clinic.

Most of the clinics have already taken place, but a Sheldon date has been added for next week.

Public Health officials tell us that preference at this time is for individuals 65 years of age and older or high-risk individuals. It is only a half dose and it must be at least six months after your second dose was completed, according to the officials. They ask you to please bring your vaccine cards with you.

The Sheldon COVID booster clinic will be held on Tuesday, November 9th from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Crossroads Pavilion Event Center in eastern Sheldon.

They ask you to go to https://obriencountyvaccineclinic.as.me to schedule your appointment.

If you don’t have access to the internet, you can call Public Health at (712) 957-0105 for help with scheduling.
