Sioux County, Iowa — Two Sioux County institutions of higher learning have both been named as affordable schools from which to receive a bachelor’s degree.
Affordable Schools, a leading higher education resource, says they help adults of all ages and backgrounds obtain a high-quality education while avoiding huge college costs and in many cases huge college debt, which can hover over their lives for years. They tell us they established Affordable Schools to help students make smart, higher education choices. Their site allows people to search for affordable colleges by state, degree type or specific degree program.
Affordable Schools has named Dordt University and Northwestern College as being two of the most affordable schools in Iowa for an online degree in a recent ranking. The ranking considered the average cost of attendance, student-to-faculty ratio, and graduation rate.
Dordt was listed as number six, and Northwestern was number nine. Other area schools on the list included Briar Cliff at number 18, Morningside at number 10, and Buena Vista at number three.
