Okoboji, Iowa — The first big concert of the year is coming up this week at the Pearson Lakes Art Center in Okoboji.
Center Executive Director Bob Kirschbaum tells us about this Tuesday’s performance by “Farewell Angelina.”
(as said:) “We’ve moved all our events outside for everyone’s safety. We have a beautiful campus — a spacious campus. Farewell Angelina — they’re named after a haunting Bob Dylan song –“Farewell Angelina.” They’re an all-female country group with four powerhouse vocalists. They’re dynamic songwriters and accomplished multi-instrumentalists. And so it’s a night. We encourage people — if you want to bring your own lawn chairs — or you can use ours. We will have two different beverage stations set up. A good opportunity to practice safe distancing and but it’s an opportunity to get outside, be safe, and enjoy a great country group.”
Tickets can be purchased at the Pearson Lakes Art Center box office, or by calling 712-332-7029. For more information regarding the show or membership, you can call the Center or visit www.lakesart.org.
