Feenstra Launches Reelection Campaign

Hull, Iowa — Congressman Randy Feenstra, Iowa’s 4th District U.S. Congress Representative from Hull, has officially announced his campaign for reelection to that office, which he’s held since January of this year.

Feenstra made his announcement Wednesday morning via Twitter. He won his first term last year, and according to his tweet, his reelection is endorsed by Iowa’s leading conservatives, including Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst, Governor Kim Reynolds, every Iowa Republican statewide official and member of Congress, and every Republican State Representative in the 4th District.

Feenstra says that in his first 10 months in Congress, Iowa’s seat has been restored on the House Agriculture Committee, needed disaster relief for farmers has been passed, he’s been promoting biofuels, passed legislation to stop the Chinese Communist Party from stealing U.S. taxpayer-funded research and fought against the socialism in America. Feenstra went on to say that, after the Republicans defeat Speaker Pelosi next year, they’ll enact a conservative agenda to end reckless spending, protect innocent life, defend the 2nd Amendment and restore America’s strength around the world.

Before being elected to Congress last year, he had spent 11 years in the Iowa State Senate representing parts of northwest Iowa.
