Sheldon, Iowa — The Republican and Democrat candidates for the Iowa District 4 seat in U.S. House of Representatives in the November General Election, met Wednesday evening to answer questions during a candidate forum put on by the Iowa Corn Growers Association.
The forum was designed to allow Iowa Corn Growers members to hear from the two candidates on issues primarily pertaining to agriculture.
Republican incumbent Randy Feenstra of Hull, and Democrat Ryan Melton of Nevada, answered questions on topics ranging from the Farm Bill, ethanol, trade and taxes, along with several other general topics.
Wednesday evening’s Congressional Forum was held at the Crossroads Pavilion event center in Sheldon.
