Sanborn, Iowa — This area’s Congressman, Randy Feenstra from Hull will be in his home area this week to talk about the next farm bill.
According to Feenstra’s staff, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, Feenstra will host a Farm Bill town hall open to the public outside Sanborn. Feenstra will discuss the 2023 Farm Bill, his work to stop China from buying American farmland, international trade issues, and his appointments to both the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Agriculture Committee. Following his town hall, Feenstra officials tell us the Congressman will hold a press conference at 9:30 AM CT announcing his “Agriculture Advisory Board” and discuss his work for Iowa agriculture in Congress.
The town hall will get underway at 8:30 a.m. at Alpha Ag Research at 3319 Polk Avenue near Sanborn. The Congressman is also scheduled to speak to the Akron-Westfield FFA later that day.
