Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Fire Company spent about an hour and a quarter on a fire call from the Sheldon High School Monday evening.
Sheldon Assistant Fire Chief Randy Harms says the call came in about 8:40 pm, reporting the smell of smoke in the high school. Fire crews were dispatched, and, according to Harms, discovered some lint on fire inside a dryer.
No damage was reported in the incident.
Harms says firefighters were back at the station at 9:52 Monday evening.
