Spencer, Iowa — The former Economic Development Director for the city of Sheldon for the past 12 years is now the new President and CEO of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation. Curt Strouth is making the rounds introducing himself.
Strouth spoke at this week’s Spencer City Council meeting.
Strouth has been on the job now for a little over a month, and says things have been going really well. He says his goal for the first 60 to 90 days in the position is to meet as many people as he possibly can.
The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation serves Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson and Emmet counties.
