Orange City, Iowa — Three Democrats running for Iowa’s 4th District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives will participate in a candidate forum Monday, March 16th. The 7 p.m. event will be held in the DeWitt Learning Commons on the campus of Northwestern College in Orange City and is hosted by the Democratic parties of Sioux and Plymouth counties.
Party officials tell us the evening will give Dave Dawson of Lawton, Stephanie Steiner of Sutherland, and Ashley WolfTornabane of Storm Lake an opportunity to introduce themselves. After their opening remarks, they will take questions from the audience.
Following the program, there will be time to mix and mingle with the candidates and other attendees while enjoying refreshments.
Anita Cirulis, chair of the Sioux County Democrats, says that Iowa Democrats have many great candidates running for statewide and national offices, but it can be difficult to attend numerous meet-and-greet events. She says this is a great opportunity to hear from three candidates at once prior to the June 2nd primary.
The DeWitt Learning Commons is located at 630 Central Ave. S. on the campus of Northwestern College. The forum will be held in the Vogel Community Room on the building’s second floor. An elevator is available.
