Cherokee, Iowa — A Rural and Renewable Fuels Issue Forum is planned for candidates seeking the Republican nomination in the 4th Congressional District.
The forum will be held on the afternoon of May 30th at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Cherokee. The event is being put on by the Agribusiness Association of Iowa, Iowa Biodiesel Board, and Iowa Renewable Fuels Association. There will be a discussion on issues most important to rural Iowans, farmers, and renewable fuels supporters. Potential topics include farming, livestock production, renewable fuels, and rural life.
Kevin Virgil is running against 4th District incumbent Randy Feenstra in the primary election on June 4th.
