Northwest Iowa — The price at the pump continues to rise, both here in northwest Iowa and across the country.
According to GasBuddy.com, the average price in Iowa for unleaded regular grade gasoline is $3.34 per gallon.
Prices here in northwest Iowa, according to GasBuddy, vary from $3.09 to $3.19 a gallon in Sheldon, to $3.39 in Orange City and Sioux Center. Pump prices in Sibley and Rock Rapids are $3.29 a gallon. And in George, GasBuddy reports pump prices varying from $3.30 to $3.34 a gallon.
Just to our east, Spencer’s gasoline prices range from $3.29 to $3.59 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.
While these gas prices give us a pain in the wallet every time we fill up, it could be worse. California has the highest gasoline prices in the country, according to GasBuddy, with all parts of that state seeing pump prices above $4.27 a gallon, with many places in the state seeing gas prices approaching $5.00 a gallon.
