H-LP School Board Schedules Hearing On Proposed $1.6 M School Infrastructure Sales, Services & Use Tax Revenue Bonds

Lake Park, Iowa — The Harris-Lake Park School Board has scheduled a public hearing on a proposal to issue approximately $1.6 million in School Infrastructure Sales, Services and Use Tax Revenue Bonds.

Superintendent Gary Richardson says it would help supplement certain aspects of the district’s upcoming construction of a new elementary facility.

Voters in the Harris-Lake Park School District approved an $18.6 million general obligation bond for the new elementary.

On a related note, Richardson says the Harris-Lake Park School Board will meet in a special session July 25th to consider bids for the project.
