After a round of thunderstorms this morning, mainly west of I-29, a stretch of dry weather is expected through the end of the work week. Heat and humidity will be on the rise, though, with heat indices peaking in the 90s to around 100 degrees in some areas Thursday and Friday. A cold front will bring relief by the weekend, but it will also bring increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms Friday night and Saturday. Stay cool, and stay weather aware!
