Temperatures more typical of the 4th of July than Memorial Day are expected through the upcoming holiday weekend. Unsettled weather will stick around through Thursday night, with scattered storms capable of producing locally heavy rainfall, along with isolated severe weather. Sunshine should be more abundant Friday through Monday, with little if any rain expected.
A quick transition into summer conditions begins today and continues into next week. High temperatures will climb into the upper 80s and 90s for the next several days.
