Northwest Iowa — With the COVID-19 pandemic cancelling many area events for the 4th of July celebration, some towns are still going to light up the sky.
Paullina will shoot off fireworks at dusk on Saturday, June 27th over the Paullina Lake to cap off the Paullina Gemboree.
In Sioux Center, The fireworks will begin around 10 p.m. on the 4th, near the north slow-pitch softball fields. They can be viewed from the All Seasons Center’s parking lot. The All Seasons Center’s address is 770 7th Street NE, Sioux Center. They can also be viewed from the current high school parking lot.
Inwood is still having their 4th of July Spectacular around 10 pm after the demolition derby in the park. The Demolition Derby will start around 6 pm.
In the city of Melvin, Independence Day fireworks will begin at dusk on Saturday July 4th at the Grass Park by the baseball diamonds.
Okoboji will have fireworks over the lake on Saturday, July 4th around 10:05 pm, and will continue to shoot fireworks off every Saturday night through Labor day.
