Rock Rapids, Iowa — If you take Highway 9 for your commute, you may want to listen up. Some summer construction is planned on that route this summer.
According to Iowa Department of Transportation Planner Dakin Schultz, Highway 9 is going to get an overlay within the next couple of months.
Schultz tells us how this will affect traffic flow.
He suggests a course of action if this project impacts your travels.
Again, Schultz says the project will cause travel delays on Iowa Highway 9 from Rock Rapids to Little Rock. He says it should start before July 9th and will take about two months.
