Inwood, Iowa — For Independence Day celebration on the actual Fourth of July, one of the places you could go is Inwood. They’ve been doing a Fourth of July celebration for several years.
Actually there are a few activities on the evening of Monday the third. Fire and Rescue Fun Night will be in the park that night from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Hamburgers and pork loin sandwiches are available for a free will donation. Inwood officials tell us there are games for all ages, fire truck rides, and more.
Al Hassebroek is president of the Inwood Community Club and is one of the organizers of the festivities. He gives us an idea of the festivities going on on the fourth.
He says fun continues into the afternoon and evening.
