Iowa Better Than Some States, Worse Than Others In Full COVID Vaccinations

Statewide Iowa — Iowa is geographically in the middle of the country, but near the top of statistics for the percent of its population that is fully immunized against the coronavirus, when compared to neighboring states.

According to statistics gathered by Statista, Iowa’s48.32% of the population fully vaccinated is significantly higher than North Dakota, but lower than Minnesota and Wisconsin, when looking at the vaccination rates in surrounding states.

Minnesota leads the way at 52.26% fully vaccinated, followed by Wisconsin at 50.3%, Iowa at 48.32%, Nebraska at 47.81%, Illinois at 46.7%, South Dakota at 45.46%, Missouri at 39.4% and North Dakota at 39.11%. These figures were compiled as of Wednesday, July 7th.
