Sheldon, Iowa — Iowa State Bank is temporarily closing one of its eight locations due to an employee with a confirmed case of COVID-19. These changes will begin on Friday, April 3, 2020.
Iowa State Bank President and CEO Leroy Van Kekerix confirmed that an ISB employee in the Sheldon branch has tested positive for COVID-19. He says the employee is currently self-quarantined at home.
Van Kekerix says that to minimize the health risks from COVID-19, Iowa State Bank will temporarily close the Sheldon branch on Friday, April 3, 2020 so that the office can be deep-cleaned following public health guidelines. He says the bank will reopen on Saturday, April 4, 2020.
During the closure period, Van Kekerix says Iowa State Bank’s online and mobile banking platforms are up and running, as are their ATMs, and the drive-ups at their other seven locations will be open.
