Sheldon, Iowa — If you have a child interested in mechanics or electronics there’s an upcoming Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Summer Camp they might enjoy. The Summer Camp “Robotics 2” will take place July 24th and 25th at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
Beth Bunkers of ISU Extension and Outreach describes this 2-day camp.
She says “Robotics 2” is only one of the robotics camps offered by ISU Extension and Outreach.
Bunkers says the “Robotics 2” camp is for children who have completed at least 4th grade, and that some experience with robots is required.
She says ISU Extension’s partnership with NCC, as well as area manufacturing companies, gives robotics campers the chance to see the real-world applications of robotics.
She says participants in the camp will have an opportunity to set their own pace, and continue exploring with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits.
Each camp is limited to 20 campers, and the cost for the 2-day camp is just $20.
Bunkers says there is still space available in this camp, and you can register for the “Robotics 2”, or any of ISU Extension’s other summer camps by CLICKING HERE.
