It’s Time To Sign Up For Cub Scouts

Sheldon, Iowa — This is the time of the year that the Cub Scouts are looking for more members.

Jennifer Meyer, the Thundercloud District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, of which the Cub Scouts are a part, tells us that her district includes eight counties, including O’Brien and Osceola Counties. She says many communities in her area are having scouting signup nights in the near future. She says they include Cub Scout Packs in Sheldon, Sibley, Hartley, and Paullina.

She tells us what Cub Scouting is all about.

Meyer tells us about the signup nights, starting with the Sheldon signup night, which is Thursday night, August 31st.

She says that while Lyon and Sioux Counties are not part of her area, that same website works for information on packs and signup nights in those and other counties. Again, it’s signup4scouting.org.
