Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation is partnering with Iowa Workforce Development and Iowa Economic Authority to complete a Laborshed employment study for the Sheldon Area.
Sheldon Economic Development Director Curt Strouth explains what a Laborshed Study is.
Strouth says the study will be completed in two waves, and he describes the first.
He says the second part will consist of a telephone survey.
Strouth says that, unlike with scammers, you will NOT be asked for identifiable information such as your name, social security number, or date of birth.
He says survey questions will cover topics such as: employment status, current and desired wages, current and desired benefits, education level, and type of occupation among other things.
Strouth says they hope to have the Laborshed Report complete within the next three to four months.
