Inwood, Iowa — Remember taking field trips in school? Usually, they were educational and a lot of fun. Well, the Lyon County Conservation Board and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach are planning what at least one of the people involved is calling “field trips for adults.
Lyon County Naturalist Emily Ostrander tells us about the “Master Conservationist” program.
She gives us an overview.
She says the last session will be a wrap-up of the program. It’s Tuesday evenings, starting at 5:30 p.m. The last session is May 31st. If you’re interested, you can call the Lyon County Extension office at 712-472-2576. Ostrander tells us it is filling up fast, but if it’s full when you call, they’re taking down names for when it might be offered again.
