Arnolds Park – Some major improvements are in the works for some popular attractions in Arnolds Park. The city council earlier this month reviewed proposed renovations for the campground at Sawmill Park; Sawmill Park itself, and the City Beach. Councilman Jason Christensen also serves on the city’s Parks Board. He says the improvements planned for Sawmill Park are extensive.
Christensen says water and electrical hookups are also in the works for the eastern part of the campground at Sawmill Park.
Some seating and a decorative wall are among the improvements planned for City Beach.
Christensen says some of the work at Sawmill Park could get underway already this coming fall.
