Man Accused Of Fatally Shooting An Algona Police Officer Has Trial Pushed Back

Algona, Iowa — The Algona man charged with murdering a police officer in that community will now go to trial on May 14, 2024, in Kossuth County.

Kyle Ricke, who is accused of killing Officer Kevin Cram back in September 2023, was originally scheduled to go to trial this Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023. Ricke has already pleaded not guilty to one count of first-degree murder.
