Sheldon, Iowa — A local jewelry store has come up with a unique way to help fight breast cancer.
Mastbergen Jewelry owner Deb Wenzel tells us about the promotion.
She says that for every pink ceramic ring that is purchased, they’ll give $20 to the fund.
She says that when they came up with the idea, they wanted a way to both help fight breast cancer and keep the money local.
The local mammogram fund is called the Northwest Iowa Health Center Foundation Mammogram Fund. The Northwest Iowa Health Center Foundation is the foundation that supports Sanford Sheldon.
Wenzel says they’d love to partner with a local nonprofit to make an even bigger donation.
