MOC/Floyd Valley Construction Going Well

Orange City, Iowa — A new elementary school is taking shape at Orange City on Highway 10.

Voters passed a $37 million bond issue in early 2020 for the facility, with a clause for a small expansion at the district’s high school, also located in Orange City.

We had a chance to visit with MOC/Floyd Valley superintendent Russ Adams, and he gives us an update.

Adams says things are really starting to take shape.

According to Adams, they haven’t had too much trouble with supply chain issues.

He tells us about the new building.

Adams tells us what they’ll be doing at the high school.

The MOC/Floyd Valley School District covers the areas of Maurice, Orange City, Alton, Granville, and Hospers.
