Sheldon, Iowa — The National Day of Prayer is coming up, and as usual, there is an observance planned in Sheldon.
Organizers invite everyone to join in a chorus of worship and a petition on Thursday, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at Sheldon Living Water Community Church. They say you can “echo prayers for our towns, cities, state, and country as we lift up the Word to light up the world.”
Worship will be led by the Home Ministry Worship Team from Sioux Center.
The theme verse this year is 2 Samuel 22:29-31, where the Bible says, “You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.”
Again, the National Day of Prayer will be celebrated at Sheldon Living Water Community Church on Thursday, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m. It’s sponsored by: the Sheldon Area Ministerial Association, Rise Ministries, and Honor God Ministries.
