Sheldon, Iowa — More and more opportunities continue to be presented to Northwest Iowa Community College students as far as what they can do when they’re done at NCC.
Recently, Western Governors University (WGU) announced a new transfer partnership with Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC).
The partnership was made official at a joint signing ceremony featuring representatives from NCC, WGU, and several other WGU community college partners succeeding the Community Colleges for Iowa convention in Des Moines. Officials of both colleges say that the exciting collaboration will provide students with a seamless transition from NCC to WGU, allowing them to leverage their earned credits toward a bachelor’s degree.
Effective immediately, the partnership enables NCC graduates to transfer their credits smoothly to WGU, offering them a selection of more than 60 entirely online undergraduate and graduate degree programs across fields such as business, education, health professions, and information technology. They tell us the agreement highlights the dedication of both institutions to delivering flexible, cost-effective education that caters to the requirements of modern learners.
