Sheldon, Iowa — A club at Northwest Iowa Community College is making Valentine’s Day better for veterans, just like they have done for the last several years.
Health Information Technology instructor Mari Beth Lane tells us about “Valentines for Veterans”.
She says they’re doing some different things this year.
Lane says she got the idea fifteen years ago from an Ann Landers or Dear Abby type column. She says the veterans always appreciate the valentines and she and the students find it very satisfying the as well.
