NCC To Hold Fall Commencement Exercises

Sheldon, Iowa — Commencement exercises at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon will be held this Friday, December 20th.

Festivities will begin with the Associate Degree Nursing Pinning Ceremony will be held at 4:30 Friday afternoon in Building A, Room 116-119. The Student Keynote Speaker for the Pinning Ceremony is Andrea Archambeau, of Armour, South Dakota, who is an Associate Degree Nursing graduate.

The Fall Commencement ceremony will be held Friday evening at 6:00, also in Building A, Room 116-119. The Commencement Address will be given by Kellie Van Beek of Rock Valley, an Associate Degree Nursing graduate.

During Friday’s Commencement exercises, 45 students will receive 2 to 2.5-year degrees, including 13 Associate of Arts degrees, 19 Associate Degree Nursing, 5 Business and 8 Electrical Technology degrees. Four students will receive their 1-year diplomas, including 1 for Business, 2 for Clerical Accounting, and 1 for Engineering Design. And 6 students will receive their High School Equivalency.

The public is welcome to attend one or both ceremonies.
