Sheldon, Iowa — If you’ve always wanted to be a welder, but you don’t have the skills or the knowledge — or maybe you’ve welded before, but you want to hone your skills — there’s a FREE welding class coming up at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
Norma Azpeitia, NCC’s Bilingual Career Pathways Navigator and Academic Specialist tells us more.
She says that if you want more training, you can enroll in NCC’s 1-year welding program. But this free class is for a welding certificate to help you get a job in the industry.
The class is open to anyone. There will also be help available for you if English is not your first language, says Azpeitia.
