Sheldon, Iowa — It’ll be graduation day this Friday for nearly 100 students at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
While they also have commencement ceremonies in December and May, NCC officials tell us that 95 graduates have finished their programs and are now moving on to the next stage of their lives.
Commencement exercises will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022. Officials tell us the Radiologic Technology Pinning Ceremony will be held in Building A, Room 116/119 at 10:30 a.m.
The Commencement ceremony will be held in the Northwest Iowa Lifelong Learning and Recreation Center at 1:30 p.m., and the Commencement Address will
be given by Carson Marco, a Sibley Powerline Technology graduate. The Student Leadership Award will also be presented.
Five people will receive their high school equivalency diploma, and five will receive other types of diplomas. Fifty people will receive AA degrees. And 41 people will receive their Associate of Applied Science degrees in one of several disciplines.
