Sheldon, Iowa — Do you have an idea for a project that would benefit Sheldon and its people, but you need some funding to make it a reality? The Sheldon Marketing Committee may have a solution.
Heidi Brown, from the Sheldon Marketing Committee, tells us about the Hotel/Motel Tax Grant program.
She says it had been an annual thing — until the pandemic.
Brown tells us what kind of projects they’re looking for.
She says you should also specify on your application your other sources of funding because it’s possible that they will partially fund it, and if your only source of funding was coming from the grant, they may not pick your project for a grant.
