New Assistant County Attorney In Sioux County

Orange City, Iowa — The office of county attorney in Sioux County has a new Assistant County Attorney.

According to officials in the office, Lori Ehlers has joined their office as an Assistant County Attorney.

They tell us that some people familiar with the office may have already met Ehlers as she began part-time in May. Ehlers was recently sworn in before the Iowa Supreme Court and last week she was formally accepted by the Sioux County Board of Supervisors and sworn in by the Honorable Judge Noll.

Officials in the office tell us Ehlers brings with her extensive criminal experience, including 18 years prosecution experience in the State of South Dakota.

They tell us Ehlers joins their experienced legal team which includes three full-time attorneys and five support staff.
