Sioux Center, Iowa — A new area for commercial growth is opening in Sioux Center.
The Sioux Center City Council has approved the plat of Westview First Addition, a new commercial area north of the Walmart commercial area.
Assistant City Manager, Dennis Dokter says the Westview plat includes four lots of various sizes, one of which is already being considered by a business looking to locate in Sioux Center.
The retail business would potentially build a 20,000-square-foot building on the 1.4-acre lot along 2nd Avenue Northwest, just north of Snap Fitness.
